It is announced that, STARTING FROM JUNE 1, 2024, UPKJ registration will adopt new Classes and Financial Limits for Work Field, Mechanical Field, and Electrical Field (Head VIIA) as follows:
Work Field and Mechanical Field

| B | Above RM5,000,000 to RM10,000,000 |
| C | Above RM3,000,000 to RM5,000,000 |
| D | Above RM1,000,000 to RM3,000,000 |
| E | Above RM200,000 to RM1,000,000 |
| F | RM200,000 and below |
Electrical Field (Head VIIA)

| I | Above RM200,000 |
| II | RM200,000 to RM5,000,000 |
| III | Above RM50,000 to RM500,000 |
| IV | RM150,000 and below |
Contractors registered under the Work / Mechanical Field in Classes BX and EX and Electrical Field (Head VIIA) under Classes V and VI can change their Registration Certificate with the Contractor and Consultant Registration Unit (UPKJ) by submitting an application as follows:
APPLICATIONS CAN BE MADE STARTING 01.12.2023 using the following types of applications:

All applications for New Registration / Addition of Main / Sub-Head under Classes BX, EX, Classes V, and VI received from 01.12.2023 will be converted to the new Classes.
