UPKJ Registration Requirements
New Application/ Class Upgrade/ Addition of Head/Sub-Head
- Class A: Berhad/ Sendirian Berhad/ Perbadanan
- Class B, BX, C, D, E, EX, F: Berhad/ Sendirian Berhad/ Perbadanan/Enterprise (Perseorangan atau Perkongsian)/ Limited Liability Of Partnership/ Koperasi
- Companies wishing to register with UPKJ must first be registered with CIDB.
- Each company must have at least one member of management, whether an owner, shareholder, or board member.
- Management members who are not owners or shareholders must be EPF contributors.
- Management members who are not Native to Sarawak must have a work permit in Sarawak or proof of being a Permanent Resident.
- The company must have a relevant business license (IRD.7) related to the field being applied for and it must be valid.
- The company needs to have a premise or office operating in Sarawak, whether owned or rented.
